Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle United tied 1-1 at St. James’ Park in the Premier League. Here are the player scores from the game.

At the start of the game, Joel Veltman put Brighton ahead. Just before halftime, Sean Longstaff tied the game at 2-2.

Eddie Howe made one change to the Newcastle team that beat Burnley 4-1 last weekend. Callum Wilson was hurt, so Elliot Anderson came back into the starting lineup in his place. After being out for more than two months with a leg injury, Kieran Trippier came back to the bench.

Brighton got the first goal early in the game when Joel Veltman poked the ball in from a corner.

The Magpies had a good start to the game, but Brighton had chances to make it 2-0 in the first half before Sean Longstaff scored an equalizer for the home team. At halftime, the score was 1-1 after Anthony Gordon set up Elliot Anderson to score. Longstaff then tapped in the equalizer.

They scored in all of their Premier League home games for the first time in a season.

Newcastle thought Anthony Gordon had given them the lead in the last few minutes, but the offside flag called it back. The score stayed 1-1.

Here are how each Newcastle United player did in the game…

1. Martin Dubravka (7 points)

Very good save to keep Danny Welbeck from making it 2-0 for Brighton.

2. Tino Livramento – 5

Having trouble defending down the right side and looks like they’ve been hit. Julio Enciso beat them too easily early on, which gave Brighton a chance. His last ball was way off the mark the times he went forward.

3. Emil Krafth – 5

Sometimes sloppy when they play the ball out from the back. After a tough first half, they played good defense in the second half.

4. Dan Burn – 7
Saw Bart Verbruggen block a header from close range in the Brighton goal. The stand-in captain had another good game at center back.

5. Lewis Hall: 6
Played some good balls forward and made some important defense plays while moving forward well. There were a few chances from the edge of the box that were stopped. Scheduled.

6. Sean Longstaff – 7
There has been a lot of ball play and things have been pretty clean. Drew scored his second goal in as many games from close range to tie the game. Again, another good middle show.

7. Bruno Guimaraes – 7
A great run into the box almost made a chance for Newcastle. Most likely tried too hard to find the killer pass a few times.

8. Seven for Elliot Anderson
Was outmuscled by Veltman for Brighton’s first goal, but he was dangerous down the left and set up Newcastle’s equalizer.

9. 5 for Jacob Murphy
It got into some dangerous spots on the right, but it hasn’t had the killer pass or shot yet. Saw Bart Verbruggen save a simple shot.

10. Anthony Gordon – 6 points
Newcastle’s biggest threat, but not as well as he usually does. It looked like he had already done too much before coming in with Anderson to set up Longstaff. Even though he made the key pass, he could have made better choices in general. Late in the game, found the goal but was called offside.

11. Alexander Isak – 6
Saw a good shot blocked by the Brighton goalie. Not had many chances, but he did send a nice ball into the box that Tariq Lamptey almost put in the goal. hooked off with just over 20 minutes left, even though Newcastle didn’t have any other strikers available.

12. Miguel Almiron — Murphy comes on for six 68: Won a corner kick with a shot from close range that was saved. He was sent off for offside as he passed the ball to Gordon for a goal that was later ruled out. Set up for a game

13. Harvey Barnes – 5: Came on for Isak in the 68th minute and missed a shot in the 81st minute. Soon after, took a shot that went straight at the goalie. Scheduled.

14. Joelinton—6—came on for Longstaff in the 68th minute and added some power to the middle, but he was shaky at times.
