The most recent injury news and return times for Nathan Ake, Jack Grealish, and Ruben Dias for Manchester City
With their win over Fulham, Manchester City went back to the top of the Premier League table.
City beat Craven Cottage 4-0 to move ahead of Arsenal in the league standings. Two goals were scored by Josko Gvardiol, one by Phil Foden, and one by Julian Alvarez from a late penalty.
With just two games left, City will be two points ahead of everyone else in the Premier League on Sunday and have won all of their games. On Sunday, Arsenal plays Manchester United at Old Trafford. The Gunners will have the chance to get back to the top of the table for at least a few days.
Pep Guardiola’s team’s next game is a rescheduled one against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night. But City may be worried about some injuries going into the game in North London.
Nathan Ake
Nathan Ake is the latest player for City who could get hurt. The center-back was taken off during the first half of the win over Fulham because he looked like he was hurt.
Ake was taken off in the 22nd minute, and Kyle Walker came on to replace him. Just less than a week remains until the end of the Premier League season. It is still unknown how much time Ake will need to be out.
Date of expected return: Not known
Jack Grealish
The City team that went to London to play Fulham did not have Jack Grealish with them because he was sick.
Guardiola said that Grealish was “okay,” even though he couldn’t play because he was sick. City hopes that the England player will be able to play against Spurs.
Guardiana said to TNT Sports, “Yes, he’s fine.” “He felt in the last moment not well and a little bit ill but he’s fine.”
When they should be back: Tottenham Hotspur (A) – May 14
