‘Go for him’: Arsenal tipped to sign ‘unstoppable’ close friend of Takehiro Tomiyasu in January.
Arsenal are expected to recruit Takehiro Tomiyasu’s “unstoppable” close friend Kaoru Mitoma in January. Robbie Savage advised Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to acquire Brighton and Hove Albion winger Kaoru Mitoma.
Much has been said about Arsenal’s need for a central striker, and Brentford’s Ivan Toney has generated considerable attention.
When discussing the wide players and the paucity of depth behind Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka with Robbie Savage and Chris Sutton on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport, one Arsenal supporter expressed greater concern.
In response, Robbie Savage recommended that the Premier League title contenders pursue the acquisition of Kaoru Mitoma, a player whose ‘unstoppable’ nature this season was characterized by Ian Wright.
The 26-year-old, a close companion of Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu and a teammate from Japan, established himself last season by leading Brighton to their first-ever appearance in Europe. In 33 appearances, he accumulated seven goals and six assists, with three goals and four assists for the season (transfermarkt).
Mimoto Kaoru to Arsenal
“As a wide receiver, Mitoma is my pick,” Savage stated. “With regard to Ivan Toney, we are not discussing central strikers right now.”
“According to the Arsenal supporter, their only wide players are Saka and Martinelli, so I would select Mitoma.”January deadline for transfers
This one is crucial for the Gunners. Who do they target, and what is their budgetary capacity?
From midfielders to attackers to wingers. Many athletes, including Douglas Luiz of Aston Villa, have been mentioned.
Winter appears to be the season in which additional spice must be added, but the established players must also perform admirably.
As stated by Owen Hargreaves, that Kai Havertz goal at Brentford could be a monumental turning point for both the player and the team as a whole. “No one in the world can do what he does.”
