Scottish Cup final: 59-year-old scottish former footballer Andy Walker predicts who will win the trophy ahead of Celtic vs Rangers match

In anticipation of the Scottish Cup final between Celtic and Rangers this coming weekend, numerous analysts have speculated on the eventual champion.

We discussed Paul Lambert’s prediction that Celtic would obscure it yesterday. Kenny Dalglish concurred that Celtic would prevail, but acknowledged that the Parkhead club would face a formidable opponent.

However, neither of those analysts were as perceptive as Andy Walker, a former Celtic striker, who made a bold prediction regarding Hampden.

Walker asserts that Celtic will “comfortably” defeat Rangers.

A customary practice governing these predictions is for pundits to offer commentary in order to maintain equilibrium in the discourse.

Everyone is aware of how it operates. Walker, however, considers Celtic to be the dominant favorites in this instance on account of their formidable midfield.

Walker stated on The Go Radio Football Show, “I do not believe he will come close.” I believe Celtic will emerge victorious with relative ease.

“They appear to have an abundance of potential match winners,” When you examine that lineup, you’ll notice that they have the same player as last week.

“With Matt O’Riley, Callum McGregor, and Hatate in the midfield, the Rangers have had a difficult time controlling all three of those players.

“Moreover, when one considers the impact Maeda has had on James Tavernier…” I believe Kyogo will start in place of Idah, but it is clear that you have him on the bench.

Furthermore, James Forrest has coincidentally arrived at the height of his season-best form; this is the reason I believe Celtic will prevail by a minimum of two goals.”

Contrary to what the former Hoops forward claimed. Although I, too, am certain of Celtic’s victory, I would not be as certain as Walker has been in this instance.

Nevertheless, to be fair to him, this is a welcome deviation from the norm. We eagerly await the realization of this forecast, which would indicate that at 6pm on Saturday, Brendan Rodgers will resume his journey up The Celtic Way in pursuit of the Scottish Cup.
