Manchester City needs to fix a few problems with transfers this summer before they can protect their Premier League title.
Even though the summer transfer market is uncertain, Pep Guardiola has been given reassurances about Manchester City’s team for next season.
As a disappointing end to a great season, the Blues lost to their neighbors United in the FA Cup Final on Saturday. There are doubts about how much the team will change for next season since most of them are going to the European Championship.
As usual, other clubs and team veterans are interested in a number of the Premier League winners. Kevin De Bruyne, Ederson, Kyle Walker, and Bernardo Silva are all being chased by other teams. Savio is likely to join from City Football Group sister club Troyes. He may not be the only player to join, though; more players may come in depending on who leaves.
After the FA Cup Final, Guardiola said that the club is waiting to see if some players will decide to stay with the team or leave this summer. The team’s sports director, Txiki Begiristain, told him that they are ready for next season.
“I am uncertain at this time. He said, “I know some players have to decide if they want to stay with us or come with us.” “I’m very happy with how the team has played all season.” I couldn’t say anything else.
“Being in this final was fun. We lost, though, but after what we did in the Premier League and the Champions League, it’s okay.” We’re good, but not that good. People say we have to win trebles and doubles every season.
“We did our best, and we were there until the end.” We lost a game because mistakes and bad moves can happen quickly in the finals, which can change the outcome of the game.
“My sporting director says everything is fine for next year but right now I don’t know what might happen.”
