Arsenal stance on the Pursuit of the two Newcastle United players Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak signature this summer transfer window as the release clause of the 26-year-old midfielder was revealed
As it stands, Arsenal has only a short time to sign Newcastle United defender Bruno Guimaraes. Eddie Howe made a great choice when he signed the Magpies star, who has quickly become an important player at St. James’ Park.
Arsenal is one of the teams that is said to want Newcastle striker Bruno Guimaraes.
There is some doubt about the 26-year-old’s future in the North East because he has caught the attention of other top teams, like Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. Some say that Financial Fair Play is a threat to Newcastle. They may have to cut back on spending to avoid getting in trouble with the Premier League.
Alexander Isak is one of the players who has been linked with a move away, but the Brazilian is still thought to be going to the Emirates Stadium. If they are really interested, the Gunners will have to act quickly to get him to the capital for a set price. If they don’t, they could end up spending too much, which would be a record for them in terms of transfers.
Reports say that the 26-year-old player has a £100 million release clause that runs out at the end of June. Some people have said that the fee could be paid in three parts, but Guimaraes’ main goal is to stay in the Premier League.
Before the race was over, Howe said, “It goes without saying what I think about what’s going on with Bruno.” Our team will be built around him, and we want to keep him. He’s an important part of what we’re doing.
“In an ideal world, given the opportunity to act we would’ve brought players in already,” he added. “But we’re not in that situation. As Darren [Eales, CEO of Newcastle] said on Thursday, Financial Fair Play is an obstacle for us, and we have to figure out how to deal with it.”
He said: “Bruno’s performances have been top-notch, he’s content and focused, looking forward to a summer where we aim to progress the squad further, and he’s central to our plans.”
Newcastle will not be able to play football in Europe again after finishing sixth in the Champions League. The lack of European games and worries about financial fair play could lead to a sale at St. James’ Park this summer. The Newcastle manager said that they haven’t been able to make many offers.
