Leeds United officially release the “price fee” for the 22-year-old Newcastle United F.C. target Crysencio Summerville
Newcastle United has put out a price tag for Leeds United player Crysencio Summerville because teams in the Premier League want to sign him.
Players from Newcastle United are said to be keeping an eye on Crysencio Summerville at Leeds United.
This is because Leeds failed to get back into the Premier League, which means the club has to sell players. According to Mail Online, Leeds needs to sell about 100 players to get the money they need. Summerville is seen as the club’s most valuable asset.
It was announced that the 22-year-old was named Championship Player of the Season. He had 21 goals and 10 helpers for Leeds in the 2023–24 season. Summerville’s first game in the Premier League was against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in 2021. Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Liverpool are all interested in him.
But a new report from Football Insider says Leeds values Summerville at £35–40 million, so a cheap deal is not possible. Any team that agrees to that price would be the first to pay that much for a Championship player, beating the £29.6 million Brighton & Hove Albion paid Watford for Joao Pedro last summer.
Summerville usually plays on the left wing, but he can also play on the right, which is an area where Newcastle wants to improve this summer. The future of winger Miguel Almiron at St. James’ Park is unknown because the Saudi Pro League is interested in him. The club will also look at Yankuba Minteh after he comes back from a loan spell at Feyenoord.
