At the end of his deal in May, Mbappe said he would be leaving Paris Saint-Germain. He would leave as the club’s all-time top scorer. There has been a lot of talk about his future, though, as Madrid has tried to close a deal over the past few years.
Fabrizio Romano said that all the paperwork for the transfer of Mbappe has been “signed, sealed, and completed.” This means that the world-famous player will soon be joining Real Madrid’s amazing team, which beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
Reports say that Kylian Mbappe’s long-awaited move to Real Madrid is now official and will soon be made public by the 2023–24 Champions League winners.
The Guardian also says that Madrid plans to make their public announcement on Monday, which is only two days after their record-setting European win.
The European and La Liga winners wanted to wait until the end of the season to talk about the transfer in public, but they can now.
They think they won’t be able to show Mbappe at the Bernabeu until around the middle of July, though, because of Euro 2024.
While the transfer saga was going on, the France captain hinted that his next club would be announced soon. He never mentioned Real Madrid, but he is now set to join a star-studded team led by Carlo Ancelotti that already includes Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.
After Saturday’s game, Bellingham told TNT Sports that he was excited about a possible deal: “If that were to happen, it would be amazing.” A player like him might be the only little thing we’re missing in terms of that precise nine. We would be in a great place if he came and gave that to us. He would take us to a whole new level.
