The firm that is in charge of representing Forson is called Sports Invest UK, and it is managed by Kia Joorabchian. Joorabchian was the agent who was responsible for facilitating Carlos Tevez’s exit from United. In 2019, he made the move from the Tottenham academy to Manchester United, and he has the potential to return to the south, where he was born. The club’s sources have also referred to the growing academy talent that might fill Forson’s post.
Shea Lacey, Jack Fletcher, and Sam Mather are among of the names who have come through.
On the day before United’s match against Fulham at Old Trafford, Rasmus Hojlund had a muscular injury. Forson was chosen to start over Antony, who had been acquired for £86 million, but he appeared inexperienced and was finally substituted by Christian Eriksen shortly into the second half of the match. In the time since then, Forson has been used as a substitute in matches against Manchester City and Arsenal, as well as in the FA Cup semifinals; yet, these appearances have not been sufficient to convince him to sign a new contract. In spite of the fact that the 19-year-old was well respected by the coaches at the academy and succeeded in making an impression on Ten Hag, he has been considering his options elsewhere for more than six months.
The attempts that Erik ten Hag made to show Forson a way to make it to the first team have been fruitless, and United will be entitled to a compensation sum in the event that he moves on to play for another club. During the preseason tour of the United States that took place in the summer of 2017, Forson was a member of the senior team. Furthermore, Ten Hag gave him his first game in the FA Cup, which was played against Wigan Athletic in January. Following his substitution for Marcus Rashford in the extra time, the kid became the 249th academy player to make his debut for Manchester United. After that, he was given other opportunity to play for the club. Forson came off the bench in the 4-3 victory against Wolves in the Premier League and made a substitute appearance against Newport County in the next round of the FA Cup. In addition, Forson was a substitute in the same match. After assisting Kobbie Mainoo in scoring the game-winning goal at Molineux, he was granted a surprise full Premier League debut a few weeks later, when he started against Fulham on February 24.
