“I am very satisfied with it” – Newcastle United player Alexander Isak delivers transfer stance on him leaving St James’ Park this summer with a clear message that will shock fans
Alexander Isak has responded to rumors about his future at St. James’ Park as a Newcastle United player.
If you ask Alexander Isak about his future at Newcastle United, he will say that he loves “everything.”
The 24-year-old had a great season with The Magpies in 2023–24, hitting 25 goals, which was the most in his career. Since Alan Shearer, Isak is the first Newcastle player to score 25 or more goals in a season. He is also the first Swede to ever score more than 20 goals in the Premier League.
Other teams are definitely interested in him though because of how well he has played. Arsenal has been interested in the striker for a long time, and The Athletic recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur is also interested.
Isak is abroad with Sweden right now on international service. He was asked about the past season and what the future holds for him.
“The second half of the season has been great,” Isak told Fotbollskanalen. “During the first part, I got hit and hurt.” It took a while to get into the groove, but I’ve been playing daily for a few months now and have found my groove. It’s also been clear in the results.
“I’m mostly happy with my season.” As a player, I scored a lot of goals in that league.
“I’m very happy with what I’ve done when I think about it.”
Newcastle came in seventh, but they didn’t make it to Europe because Manchester United, who came in eighth, won the FA Cup. The Magpies are sad that they won’t be playing in the Champions League after being in it from 2023 to 2024.
But when asked about his future, Isak stayed very hopeful about Newcastle.
He also said, “I’m having a great time in Newcastle.” “This was my best season ever.” Not putting that down should be done.
“I love the club, the fans, and the city in general.” I haven’t thought about moving or anything like that.
„I’m having a great time and am very pleased with my life.”
Isak said, “It is not something I am speculating on” when asked about the idea that Newcastle might have to sell one of their best players to meet the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules. In the club or team, there has been no drama or talk about it.
“I still don’t have the information from the club that they need to sell me.”
