Rafael Benítez, the boss of Fenerbahce, thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo will score goals and be a key player for Portugal at the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.
Cristiano Ronaldo is getting ready for his 11th big tournament. He made his debut for Portugal at Euro 2004.
The 39-year-old forward just finished a great season with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, where he scored 50 goals in 51 games.
Ronaldo has been playing very well, but Diogo Jota of Liverpool, Goncalo Ramos of PSG, and Joao Felix, who spent last season on loan at Barcelona, are all strong candidates for a starting spot in Portugal’s team.
To RTP, Mourinho said this about Cristiano: “Cristiano is the one who knows how he feels, what his goals are, and how the coach wants to use him, whether to play every minute of every game or protect him in key moments.”
“But there’s a lot going on inside that makes them fight.” He has a lot of power, and he will reach his goals.
“I don’t think he will leave the European Championship without scoring any goals.”
