Ledley King, a former England player, said that Cristiano Ronaldo was his best opponent ever, even better than Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldinho.
During his official career, King only played for one team, Tottenham Hotspur.
That same year, he also played 21 times for the England national team. He stopped playing in 2012.
If you ask King, Ronaldo was the best of the three players he played against in his career.
He told talkSPORT, “I think it will be Cristiano Ronaldo in the end.” Not as good as Zidane, though. I played against Ronaldinho.
“There were some good players at that level, but Ronaldo gets the award for what he has done in the game and how long he has played.”
“People will look up to him more than the other two players, but all three of them are on the same level of talent and skill,” he said.
Ronaldo, who is 39 years old now, has been playing professional football for more than 20 years.
