Oh Hyeon-gyu, a striker for Celtic, is almost done with his move to KRC Genk. He has agreed to personal terms with the Belgian team.
Reports from Belgium say that Genk is talking to Celtic about a transfer fee of £4.2 million plus possible bonuses to seal the deal.
Oh joined Celtic during Ange Postecoglou’s time as manager. He has shown promise, but hasn’t been able to keep up his play, so he has decided to look for regular playing time elsewhere. People think that this move is part of his plan to win a stable spot on the South Korean national team.
He is said to have signed a long-term deal with the team.
Oh’s possible departure is a sign of bigger changes coming to Celtic Park. The club plans to make a lot of changes to its team this summer. Several players are leaving the team to make it more efficient and get rid of players who aren’t doing their job, which is an important step for the club as it tries to get stronger for the next season.
