Following the announcement of the Premier League fixture list for the 2024–2025 season, the following is a list of the most important dates for Manchester United.
Following an extended period of uncertainty regarding his future, Erik ten Hag will take over as the manager of Manchester United for the 2024–2025 Premier League season.
The previous season was a dismal one for United, as they finished ninth in the Premier League. They also set a new club record for the number of defeats they suffered and had a goal differential that was negative.
Ten Hag will continue to coach United for a third season after receiving the vote of confidence from Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who has given him permission to continue in his current role. The first year that the Dutchman was in command was a great success; nevertheless, United saw a decline in 2023/24 and must recover to the levels that they had previously achieved.
