When the Manchester United player was halted, he was in the process of overtaking an unmarked police vehicle.
Last year, shortly after midnight, Rashford, 26, was operating his Rolls-Royce Cullinan Blue Shadow when he passed an inconspicuous police BMW X5 on December 12.
The officer reported that his vehicle continued to accelerate, despite the fact that the police vehicle attained speeds of 104 mph.
The police were in pursuit of Rashford as he exited the M60 at junction 3 and headed towards Wilmslow on the A34.
The officer stopped Rashford at the Eden Park Road roundabout, as he suspected a change in his driving behavior.
Rashford verified his identity and disclosed that he believed he was being pursued by an additional vehicle, referring to it as a frequent occurrence.
Upon reviewing the footage, the officer discovered no indication that another vehicle was pursuing Rashford. Rashford was subsequently served with a notice of intended prosecution.
Following Rashford’s guilty plea to the speeding offense, District Judge Lucy Hogarth imposed a six-month driving suspension, a £1,666 fine, a £666 victim surcharge, and £120 in court costs during her appearance via videolink at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court.
This incident transpired three months after he crashed another Rolls-Royce following a match against Burnley.
Rashford did not necessitate medical attention, and no arrests were made during that incident.
His collection of exotic automobiles comprises a Lamborghini, a McLaren, and numerous Rolls-Royces.
