‘Here we go’ Fabrizio Romano officially confirms that Newcastle United 21 year-old transfer target seal a deal of £25m – Agreement established

After a summer of rumors about his future, Matias Soule is almost done with his move away from the Old Lady.

Soule spent last season on loan at Frosinone, where he played 36 Serie A games and scored 11 goals and set up 3 others. Over the summer, Soule went back to his old club, but he was strongly linked with a move away as they tried to raise money.

But Juventus turned that down because they were set on their £25m price. It looks like it paid off, because Roma is said to have matched that price and will sign Soule this summer.

Newcastle United and Aston Villa were two Premier League teams that were said to be interested in the 21-year-old winger. But Leicester City, who had just been promoted, was really interested and made a bid for Soule that was said to be worth £21 million.

Fabrizio Romano, a trade expert, wrote on X that Soule was almost joining Daniele De Rossi’s team: “Matias Soulé to AS Roma, let’s go!” A deal has been made for a talented winger after a vague agreement was made public. There is a €26 million fixed fee, a €2 million easy add-ons and €2 million difficult add-ons package, and a 10% sell-on option to Juventus. Soulé wants a five-year deal, and Friedkin and de Rossi want it too.

Newcastle United wants to get a winger this summer and have been linked with a move for Noni Madueke from Chelsea. Leicester City, on the other hand, is getting ready to go back to the Premier League under new manager Steve Cooper, but they could lose some points.
