“He’s absolutely our player” – Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola sends out a clear transfer decision regarding Julian Alvarez move to Atletico Madrid

It was announced on Saturday that Atletico Madrid will start talks with Manchester City about a deal for Julian Alvarez.

Even though Atletico Madrid is interested in Julian Alvarez, Pep Guardiola wants him to play for Manchester City this season.

Atletico has contacted City to find out about Alvarez’s transfer situation since the end of his Olympic campaign on Friday. Alvarez had said before that he would have to think about his future because he wasn’t picked for the big games last year.

Guardiola responded directly to what his attacker said, and Alvarez tried to calm things down but couldn’t say for sure that he wants to stay at City. Now that talks have begun, Atletico must offer as much as City wants in order to get City to sell.

After the friendly win over Chelsea, Guardiola didn’t say anything new about Alvarez’s move, but he did say that he is getting ready for the new season with the Argentine in mind.

“The man is definitely our player. He’ll be back. The manager told him, “I count on him.” “But he said in the news that everyone will work together to make a choice. He needs to rest now and will come back when he’s ready.

“Of course, when he gets back, I’ll give him a big hug and congratulate him on the Copa America and the Olympics. Then we’ll get to work.” This is the truth.

What will happen in the meantime? I have a million things to think about for the team, if we are ready. We have our first game for the season next week. My only worry is that we play at Stamford Bridge again in two weeks.

In response to another question about the young players in his team, Guardiola said he doesn’t plan to make any more purchases because he is satisfied with the talent he already has.

“We don’t need it; we have enough depth,” he said. I don’t like having a lot of people on my team.
