Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka sent Emile Smith Rowe a moving message after Rowe moved to Fulham from Arsenal.
Emile Smith Rowe, a former friend of Bukayo Saka’s at Arsenal, has moved to Fulham. Saka told Smith Rowe to “go and shine.”
The England international signed a five-year deal with Fulham, and the club has the chance to add one more year to the deal.
Smith Rowe, 24, joined Arsenal’s youth team when he was 10 years old and worked his way up to play 115 games for the first team in all categories. Around the same time, Smith Rowe and Saka both made it into the first team and were very important in helping boss Mikel Arteta bring the club back to life.
After Smith Rowe left, Saka wrote an emotional post on Instagram: “From Hale End to the Emirates and all the memories on our journey.” It has been a real pleasure. “Bro, go shine!”
Smith Rowe told FFCtv, “I’m finally here, so I’m really happy for me and my family. It’s a good moment.” “I’m so excited! I just wanted to get here quickly so I could start working with my teammates.”
As I’ve heard about the project, talked to the boss (Marco Silva), and seen the players we already have here, I believe it is an exciting opportunity for me and the next step in my career.
Mikel Arteta, the boss of Arsenal, praised Smith Rowe’s hard work and attitude. “I’m sad that Emile is leaving us, but I’m excited for him to take this new chance at this point in his career when he needs to be starting games and playing often,” Arteta wrote on the club website.
