Official: FC Barcelona starting lineup against Valencia today

Now that Hansi Flick is in charge at Barcelona, the team’s first official game under the German coach, against Valencia in their La Liga start, is today.

With a little more than an hour to go, Barcelona has announced the starting group for their game against Los Che at Mestalla. Marc Bernal will be making his debut in the team.

As always, captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen is in charge of the goal for Barcelona. For the away team, Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde start as full-backs on the right and left sides, respectively.

Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez play as the center backs together.

Marc Casado starts his first game in La Liga. He plays with teenager Marc Bernal in the middle as a double pivot for Barcelona. Bernal’s debut with the first team is his official debut.

Since players like Ilkay Gundogan and Fermin Lopez aren’t playing, Raphinha seems to be starting at No. 10. Pedri just got back from injury, and Pablo Torre was left out.

Barcelona’s striking trio against Valencia is made up of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Ferran Torres.
