BREAKING: Uncover the’scary’ truth about Sandro Tonali’s influence on Newcastle United since his comeback from a lengthy suspension from FIFA
The Italian is back with Newcastle United after being out for a long time.
Sean Longstaff, a star player for Newcastle United, says that Sandro Tonali’s promise since coming back from a 10-month global ban for illegal betting has been “scary” at Benton.
The player from the Geordie Academy is close with the Italy international and is glad to see the star back after his harsh FIFA ban. Tonali will be in the mix for the game at Molineux this weekend, along with Longstaff, Bruno Guimaraes, and Joelinton.
When asked about Tonali’s comeback, Longstaff said, “It’s huge.” He’s really important to our team. This is a huge deal when you can get someone back like Sandro, who is cool and present with the group. It makes us stronger than before and makes the battle tougher.
“But we’ve known from the start how hard he’s worked. It would have been simple for him to put down his tools and wind down, but he didn’t. He looks so much better now than when he first came. That’s scary to say!
“He comes in every day and you can never tell what he is thinking by looking at him which is such a good thing.”
Tonali’s boss also gave him good marks this week for how well he played for Italy when he wore the blue shirt. Luciano Spalletti, who used to manage Napoli and AS Roma, said over the weekend, “We have found a great player again.” We were afraid Sandro wouldn’t be able to play for 90 minutes because he played such a great game! Instead, he gave two energy bursts in the last five minutes. We’ve found a very good player.
