Celtic F.C. (#14 / Midfielder) Luke McCowan sends a message direct Keevins over recent critics on his performance
Everyone who follows Celtic knows that every new player brings some risk to the team.
But what really bothers Celtic fans is when experts write off new players before they’ve even put on the green and white Hoops.
It looks like that’s also true for Luke McCowan and Hugh Keevins.
Kevins is known for being wrong about a lot of things when it comes to Celtic and their players, and he just admitted that he was wrong about McCowan joining the Hoops.
Keevins says that Luke McCowan has done “great” at Celtic.
McCowan has already scored his first goal for Celtic. He has also adapted well to his new team, which has helped Brendan Rodgers stay unbeaten in the league.
Because of this, Keevins now says he was wrong about the former Dundee captain.
“I’ll say quickly of him,” Keevins told Superscoreboard. To go back to the beginning, he started off better than I thought he would.
“All of that is in your head when you finally get to Celtic if you’re the boy from Greenock who was born a Celtic fan and wants to play for them all your life.”
“But he’s loved it.” He has not been scared by it; in fact, he has thrived on it. He plays really well every time he comes to the park.
Kevins has a lot of things wrong about Celtic, and Luke McCowan is just one of them.
Over the years that Keevins has been a football commentator in Scotland, he has gotten a lot of things about Celtic wrong. Not long ago, when he said mean things about Reo Hatate’s behavior at Celtic, he was told what was really going on.
Keevins also made fun of Celtic’s recent transfer strategy, and Superscoreboard was also very wrong when he said that Celtic couldn’t change their mind about giving Rangers tickets to the Glasgow Derby because he thought that season ticket holders were living in the away section of Celtic Park.
We all know how Keevins had to change his mind about how he felt about Celtic hiring Ange Postecoglou.
A lot of the time, experts are wrong. It looks like Keevins is usually wrong about Celtic.
