Manchester United must make a decision regarding Joshua Zirkzee in light of the ongoing interest in his signature during the January transfer window.

The striker was acquired by United for £36.5 million from Bologna last summer. However, he may be permitted to depart the club following a lackluster debut, during which he has scored only four goals in 28 appearances.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is interested in acquiring the 23-year-old, and manager Thiago Motta is eager to reunite with his former Bologna forward this month.

The report also asserts that Kia Joorabchian, Zirkzee’s agent, is “actively working on an exit” and that there is already a “basic agreement” between Joorabchian and Juventus regarding a potential transfer.

The report further states that the two parties have maintained “consistent” communication regarding a potential transaction. However, it is cautioned that United would only approve a full sale of Zirkzee this month and would have little interest in allowing him to depart on a loan.

United would be certain to evaluate any permanent offer for Zirkzee this month and would be unable to ignore any proposal that exceeds the £36.5m they initially paid for him.

Nevertheless, the participant may not concur. Zirkzee is ‘determined to establish himself’ in the Premier League and has no interest in leaving United this month, according to Sky Sports.

Ruben Amorim, the head coach of United, acknowledged that Zirkzee may be transferred this month following the weekend’s draw with Liverpool. “I am in favor of retaining Josh because he is dedicating himself to his training and is making an effort, but we are uncertain,” Amorim stated.
