‘Absolutely not,’ Sandro Tonali’s representative rejects Newcastle United transfer speculation.
Sandro Tonali’s agent dismisses Newcastle United’s transfer speculation as “absolutely not.
“Sandro Tonali has been associated with a surprising return to AC Milan, less than 18 months after he relocated from the San Siro to St James’ Park.
On Wednesday, reports in Italy suggested that Tonali was interested in returning to AC Milan, the club with which he assisted in winning the Scuddetto during the 2021-22 season.
has appeared in 15 matches across all competitions for Newcastle United this season since his return to action in August, following a 10-month suspension.
However, he has been unable to establish a consistent starting position. Reports that Tonali was “unsettled” at Newcastle United sparked speculation regarding his future.
However, his agent, Giuseppe Riso, has dismissed any notion of Tonali returning to Italy in the next few transfer windows. Riso stated, as reported by Fabrizio Romano on X, that Sandro is not contemplating a return to Serie A.
“He is content at Newcastle, where he is able to compete in the most prestigious league in the world.
Newcastle United fans have consistently praised Sandro in every circumstance.”Last week, Tonali was the starting midfielder for Newcastle in their 1–1 draw with Liverpool at St James’ Park.
However, he was relegated to the bench at the Gtech Community Stadium after Howe disclosed that he had been experiencing cramps as a result of his diligent effort against Arne Slot’s team.
Tonali has participated in all six of Italy’s matches since his return from his suspension, despite not being a regular starter with his club. He has completed 90 minutes in all but one of those appearances.
