An official announcement regarding Alexander Isak has been made, confirming that the Newcastle United player is scheduled for a date in March.
Isak has demonstrated remarkable productivity for the Magpies subsequent to his club-record transfer from Real Sociedad, valued at £63 million, in August 2023.
He has achieved the milestone of fifty goals in merely 89 appearances. In the year 2024, the 25-year-old achieved an impressive tally of 25 goals, a record surpassed only by the esteemed club legend Alan Shearer, who also scored 25 times within a single calendar year.
Isak, however, has the potential to surpass one of Shearer’s milestones during the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday evening by scoring in his eighth consecutive Premier League match. The Swedish international is the 45th recipient of the senior men’s award, succeeding his current colleague, Kieran Trippier.
Isak was regarded as “the unanimous choice,” surpassing Anthony Gordon, who secured the second position, and Middlesbrough’s Emmanuel Latte Lath, who placed third.
