Another player could be added to the strongest Man United squad by Ruben Amorim in the near future without paying a cent.

Ruben Amorim didn’t have the best of starts at Manchester United, but the Portuguese manager will at least have a more comprehensive understanding of the task at hand.

United demonstrated all of their current strengths in the initial 90 seconds of the match when they secured a lead over Ipswich Town.

Amad, the primary source of inspiration, executed an exceptional feat by outpacing his opponent and delivering a tantalising cross that Marcus Rashford was able to convert.

Nevertheless, they continued to demonstrate some of the deficiencies that resulted in Erik ten Hag’s termination.

Andre Onana performed exceptionally well in maintaining the Reds’ lead; however, he was unable to prevent their well-deserved equaliser. However, their defence was left with numerous questions, despite the fact that a point was a fair outcome.

In the back three, United deployed Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt, and Jonny Evans, which is likely only one-third of the defence that Amorim would prefer.

Thanks to Leny Yoro, that defence could be fortified at no cost as early as Thursday night.

Fortunately, this was possible. In the summer, Ten Hag would have been cursing his fate after the Frenchman sustained a severe foot injury during a preseason match against Arsenal.

The youthful centre-back has been unable to appear since that time; however, he has been able to rejoin the training group at Carrington.

There was some speculation that Yoro could play in Suffolk; however, that fixture was scheduled far too soon.Nevertheless, the confrontation with Bodo/Glimt may present an ideal occasion to accumulate some much-needed minutes.

Yoro was excluded from the National League Cup match against Altrincham by Amorim last week, and it is evident that the Portuguese coach intends to incorporate him into the United squad in the future.

Although it is improbable that he will make his debut against their Norwegian opponents, it is possible that a brief appearance in the second half, lasting 30 minutes, will serve as his initial return to the first team. This would be well-deserved.
