Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta reveals the name of who is the better player between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi
Early this afternoon, Craig Hope of The Mail broke the big news that Joe Willock will not play again this season.
He says that the club has decided to give the 24-year-old some time off to help him fully heal from an Achilles problem that kept coming back. He left our 1-0 win over Fulham earlier this month with a limp.
The defender came back to play in February, after being out for a few months. He will miss our last six games of the season against Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, Burnley, Brighton, Manchester United, and Brentford, though, because he’s still thought to be in pain.
It’s a shame for Willock that he will only have started nine games this season because of problems with his leg and Achilles. The latter has been a bothersome problem, and Hope says he will now rest and do strength training to make sure he’s ready for pre-season.
Elliot Anderson has done a great job filling in for him while he was away, and Joelinton also plans to be back in a few weeks.
