Arsenal have reached an agreement to transfer to their Premier League rivals after the exiting star provided an abrupt response, revealing his preference.

Arsenal and West Ham United have reportedly reached an agreement to transfer Kieran Tierney, who has expressed his preference for the latter club this month.

Tierney is not included in our list of the 20 most talented footballers who could become free agents in the summer; however, his long-term future is uncertain. In recent seasons, the Scotland international has been plagued by injuries and has fallen down the Arsenal hierarchy.

David Ornstein of The Athletic recently disclosed that he intends to depart in the summer. At the latest, Arsenal will release Kieran Tierney next summer, as the club declined to exercise an option to extend his contract.

Arsenal has the option to extend Tierney’s contract by an additional year, despite the fact that it is set to expire in June. This would have allowed them to extend the use of the 27-year-old left-back or to obtain a fee if they chose to transfer him at the conclusion of this season.

Tierney has been apprised of the circumstance. It signifies that his tenure in north London is nearing its conclusion, and the Scotland international will be eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with non-English teams beginning on January 1.

Additionally, it is feasible that a definitive transfer occurs next month. ‘There is interest from England, an emotive attachment to his former team Celtic, and experience of playing abroad as a result of a loan spell at Real Sociedad during the 2023-24 campaign.’

The report asserts that: The Gunners and West Ham have reached an agreement in principle to recruit Kieran Tierney, a left-back. Brentford, Leicester, and numerous foreign organizations were similarly affected. In the past 18 months,

Tierney has been associated with West Ham on numerous occasions. However, the Hammers were promptly denied the opportunity to determine whether the Scottish left-back was interested in the transfer.Tierney is currently in negotiations to re-join his childhood club, Celtic.

It is alleged that he had previously expressed his desire to return to Celtic, and his contract expires this summer. A pre-contract has been discussed with Celtic in anticipation of a summer transfer. West Ham would be unable to do so as a neighboring English club, whereas Celtic can do so as a team from a different nation.

“Arsenal and Tierney would prefer to see him complete a permanent exit during the winter window, and discussions are currently underway to determine the most effective approach to accomplishing this.”
