Arsenal is interested in acquiring a striker who is considered to be among the best in the globe. Arsenal is preparing to make a substantial investment in the summer of 2025 to acquire Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak in order to
resolve their striker shortage. According to Mick Brown, a former scout for Man United, Tottenham, and Sunderland who maintains a strong network within the game, the 25-year-old is “one of the best in the world” in an exclusive interview with Football Insider.
This occurs in the context of increasing concerns regarding Kai Havertz’s performances, as the 25-year-old has now gone three league games without scoring a goal, a period during which his team has failed to secure a victory. Additionally, the Gunners were defeated 1-0 by Inter Milan in the Champions League on November 6, and he was unable to generate much of a threat heading forward. In the interim, Isak continued to demonstrate his value by scoring the decisive goal against Arsenal at St James’ Park last weekend with a powerful header that beat David Raya.
The Sweden international has become one of the
most highly esteemed strikers in Europe and has scored in each of the Magpies’ last three games. Arsenal’s interest has been reignited by those performances, as the club was previously interested in the player during the transfer window but ultimately decided against making a move.
