Arsenal is poised to rue the loss of Kai Havertz for £45 million. The Chelsea FLOP Pochettino has instructed players to seek

employment with a new club in January. Arsenal supporters, I am sure you are thinking. Not another player for Chelsea. In recent times, Kai Havertz, Petr Cech, David Luiz, Willian, and Jorginho have all exchanged Stamford Bridge for the Emirates Stadium. Havertz has begun to establish himself in north London, albeit with varying degrees of success and substantial malice. In addition to being named the Gunners’ Player of the Month for November, the German international scored the game-winning goal away at Brentford. The Daily Mail reports that Mauricio Pochettino’s squad is willing to release Gallagher, which is somewhat unexpected given the 23-year-old’s outstanding performance this season. Although Chelsea as a whole have been abysmal, the England international has delivered some consistently outstanding performances from midfield.

As is common knowledge, Arsenal is in need of a number eight. Their roster is loaded with attacking and holding midfielders.

Pure No.8s are currently scarce due to the transfer of Granit Xhaka to Bayer Leverkusen during the summer. However, Gallagher is precisely that.

An aggressive midfielder who moves quickly up and down the field, has excellent game reading, and executes deft passes to enter the penalty area and contribute offensively. Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice are pillars of support for Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Odegaard is most effective when utilized as a creative presence capable of dropping deep, advancing the play through the lines, and rising up with goals in addition to serving as the defensive anchor for Rice. But someone is required in the middle.

An individual who is capable of winning duels, runs quickly, and contributes additional offensive force to the park’s core. Gallagher satisfies each of those three criteria.

Eight goals were scored during the former Crystal Palace loanee’s outstanding campaign in front of the net at Selhurst Park.Aaron Ramsey is comparable in some ways to him in terms of his playing approach. Such a profile would undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of Arteta’s squad.

Gallagher is reportedly valued by Chelsea at approximately £45 million.
