TBR Football reports that intermediaries have reached out to Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United following Mathys Tel’s decision to depart from Bayern Munich.
The 19-year-old has become disenchanted with the limited opportunities available to him under the management of Vincent Kompany.TBR Football previously disclosed in January that Chelsea has an interest in Tel; however, the Bayern Munich No. 39 harbours reservations regarding a potential transfer to Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman is keen to avoid merely exchanging one reserve for another prior to the transfer deadline on February 3rd. Recently, sources with knowledge of the situation have informed TBR Football regarding an update on Mathys Tel, as Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United have been approached.
Mathys Tel has been presented as a potential acquisition for Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United. Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent at TBR Football, has been informed that the representatives of the France U21 international are actively engaged in seeking a resolution for the forward.
It has come to our attention that Tel has experienced a rift with Kompany following the Belgian’s communication to the young player that he is not included in his strategic considerations at the Allianz Arena during a recent series of discussions.
TBR Football are told Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United have all been offered the opportunity to sign the Bayern Munich outcast – who joined the German giants from Rennes in a £25m deal at the age of just 17 back in July 2022. However, sources add that contact has also been made with clubs in Germany and Italy –
with Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and AC Milan invited to try and sign Tel. Kompany has afforded the young player merely two starting opportunities in the Bundesliga this season, with no starts in either the DFB-Pokal or the UEFA Champions League. Mathys Tel has been likened to Thierry Henry.
The Bayern Munich player wearing the number 39 has not been afforded the opportunity to fully actualise his considerable potential in Bavaria; however, he continues to be recognised as a remarkably gifted talent.
