Now, AS reports that Athletic Club vice president Jon Ruigomez pretty much revealed the news in a recent interview, saying that Nico will play for the Basque team this season.
He said, “There is peace if things are done well and there is a project.”
According to him, his team will play in the UEFA Europa League this coming season.
“Interesting things make people happy. I believe this is normal and doesn’t change every day.” People are excited about the coming year.
Lastly, the club official talked about how Athletic Club dealt with the winger’s case and whether the player’s choice was final.
“It’s not a matter of knowing or not knowing; it’s a matter of staying calm and believing in the work that is being done. There is a project with a lot of energy, and with these wickers, what needs to happen does happen.”
