Pablo Barrios, the midfielder for Atletico Madrid, has acknowledged that he must enhance his goal-scoring capabilities.
Barrios was addressing the media prior to the Champions League match against Sparta Prague on Tuesday.
Important match against Sparta: “We’re on a good run in the Champions League and the League and we hope it continues like this.” Optimal position: “I am unconcerned as long as I am able to assist the team.”
I am at ease performing as either a 5 or an 8, and my primary objective is to achieve success. The heir of Koke: “I have consistently maintained that he serves as my inspiration both on and off the pitch.”
It is an honour to collaborate with him, and I aspire to have the opportunity to do so on numerous occasions. Coach Diego Simeone urges for additional objectives:
“He’s absolutely right, I have to make an effort when I get to the last few metres, it’s one of the things I have to improve.”
