Declan Rice, an English player, sent a message to a striker who has been linked with a summer move to Arsenal.

The Arsenal defender Declan Rice has talked to the Brentford striker Ivan Toney. The Gunners have been interested in Toney for a while now.

Both Rice and Bukayo Saka are important players for Arsenal, but they are still healing from a hard night playing for England. They played the whole game as England beat Slovakia 2-1, with boss Gareth Southgate keeping a close eye on them.

In the game, Saka showed how versatile he is by playing a number of different roles, and Rice was a key one-man middle. Even though it was hard on their bodies and minds, both players should be ready for England’s quarterfinal match against Switzerland on Saturday. Saka and Rice are both important to Southgate’s plans, so calls to take them out of the starting group are not likely to be listened to.

Arsenal wants to add to their team, so they’ve been linked to a number of English players, including Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace. But Ivan Toney, a prolific striker for Brentford, is the most important goal.

Toney praised his important role off the bench in England’s win over Slovakia with an Instagram post that included five photos and the words, “Big character shown by the boys! It felt great to play in my first competition! It’s time for the quarters!”

Rice and Jude Bellingham were both very happy in the comments. Rice wrote, “He’s here, my brother,” along with a bunch of smiles.

There have been rumors that Arsenal’s interest in Toney may have waned, but Rice’s support for him says that he would be welcome at the Emirates. It was clear that the striker was confident and good at getting goals against Slovakia, which made people wonder if Arsenal would benefit from adding him.

When Toney comes to Arsenal, he could be a dynamic choice off the bench, similar to how Niclas Fullkrug has helped Germany. Kai Havertz has a lot of different skills, but Toney can consistently score goals, which could make him a useful asset for Arsenal by giving them an alternative to Gabriel Jesus and making the team’s attack stronger.
