Big Rangers update: Danny Rohl to grant Barry Ferguson his wish after transfer revelation

Danny Rohl has offered a clear hint at the type of transfer business Rangers could pursue moving forward.

After a narrow 1–0 win over Motherwell at Ibrox, Rangers remain in the Premiership title race, but their long-term prospects may hinge on how effectively they strengthen in January and beyond.

While recent recruitment has focused heavily on overseas markets, Rohl has suggested that approach could evolve.

Speaking to the BBC, the Rangers boss insisted the Scottish market should not be overlooked, highlighting the value of players already familiar with the league and the demands of playing for the club.

His comments echo the long-held views of former Ibrox captain Barry Ferguson, who has regularly criticised the club’s reluctance to sign domestically.
