Blackburn Rovers brutally slams two controversial incident with Ben Whiteman and Moussa Baradji during their match clash against Preston North End

Blackburn Rovers claimed a 2–1 win at Preston North End, but former officials and pundits believe two major decisions still went against them.

Valérien Ismaël’s men were furious when Ben Whiteman’s late tackle on Moussa Baradji went unpunished, with replays showing the Preston skipper could easily have been dismissed. Ex-PGMOL chief Keith Hackett argued the challenge met all criteria for serious foul play, saying the referee “got this one wrong.”

Sky Sports analysts Chris Davies and former Rovers midfielder Tim Sherwood also felt Blackburn should have had a late penalty, insisting Andrew Hughes’ hand to Makhtar Gueye’s face was enough for VAR to intervene if it were available.
