A striker who used to play in the Premier League said today that he has joined Arsenal’s Hale End school, a year after retired from professional football.

The last time Colin Kazim-Richards was at Arsenal was when he was a teenager, from 1998 to 2001. He spent three years in the club’s school and has now returned to the club.

Over the course of his long career, he played in nine countries and the Premier League, where he only got one goal in 27 games, all for Sheffield United.

The Turkish player, who has played for his country 37 times, made his own introduction on X (formerly Twitter), where he talked about how proud he was to be joining the club.

He told them, “I’m happy to say that I’m now officially a part of the Arsenal academy coaching team.” Being a part of a club that is known for its dedication to success and growth is an honor.

Kazim-Richards isn’t the only teacher that will be changing jobs in the next few weeks and months. There will be changes at both the academy and first team levels.

The Hale End school is famous for turning out great players. Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, and Eddie Nketiah are just a few names of players who have come through the academy in recent years.

It’s true that a lot of talented players have left the school in recent years, including Omari Hutchinson, Reuell Walters, and maybe even Chido Obi-Martin soon. Arsenal will want to stop this trend.

The Gunners haven’t said what Kazim-Richards’ exact job will be, but his experience will definitely help the school as the club looks to bring up the next generation of players.
