The Emirates’ renowned cannon is embroidered onto the chest of the shirt of the Gunners’ new uniform, replacing the customary club emblem for the first time in thirty-five years. As is customary, Arsenal could don the new uniform on Sunday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium when they host Everton in their concluding match of the season.
The Gunners could earn their first Premier League championship since 2004 on that particular afternoon if they can secure a favor from West Ham United in their match against Manchester City. A victory would require them to collect three points against Everton, which would be enough to edge Pep Guardiola’s squad to the championship.
