Como, which is led by Cesc Fabregas, has made a lot of people look twice at their summer transfer action.

The team in Serie A made news when they signed Sergi Roberto, a former superstar player for Barcelona. They also got Nico Paz, a young star player from Real Madrid.

But besides these two, big names like Raphael Varane, Andrea Belotti, and Emil Audero have also moved.

Even though it’s the last week of the transfer window, Como is still looking to add new players. The defense is becoming especially important to them.

How Como can help Barcelona

According to SPORT, Como is keeping a close eye on the Spanish market to find a new defender. Mika Marmol, a former young player for Barcelona, has come up as a possible target.

It was said that Como is thinking about meeting Marmol’s €10 million release option because head coach Cesc Fabregas really likes the player.

Marmol works as a manager for Las Palmas right now, but Barcelona had a 50% sell-on fee clause in his deal.

And that means that the Catalans can get €5 million if Como pays the player’s €10 million release option.

The good news is that this could help Barcelona, who need money badly to sign new player Dani Olmo.

It’s possible that Barça’s offers will get better after the €10 million sale of Marmol. This would bring them one step closer to returning to the 1:1 rule.

Barcelona could accept Como’s possible €10 million offer for Marmol, but it’s not likely that the club would do that.
