Newcastle United transfers: Chelsea has set a shockingly high price for one of their most important players this summer.
It is said that Chelsea will want more than £50 million for Conor Gallagher this summer. Gallagher was an important part of Mauricio Pochettino’s team last season, but the Argentine has left, and Chelsea needs to make sure they are following PSR rules more and more.
This means Gallagher could be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.
If Chelsea sold Gallagher, they could count all the money they got for him as pure profit, which would help their finances. Gallagher, on the other hand, is about to enter the last year of his current contract at Stamford Bridge.
If a new deal can’t be reached, the Blues will have to sell him this summer so they don’t lose him for free next year.

Enzo Maresca, who used to lead Leicester City, will take over as manager of Chelsea at the start of next season.
His move from the King Power Stadium to West London was confirmed earlier this week. Maresca worked for Pep Guardiola at Manchester City before joining the Foxes before their Championship season last summer.
