BREAKING: Ex-Celtic F.C player was confirmed dead on the 27th of june 2024 (RIP) – What happened revealed
Landry Nguemo, a former Celtic player, died in a car accident near his home town of Obala, Cameroon. He was only 38 years old.
He was a great football player for Nancy, Celtic, Bordeaux, Saint-Ettiene, Akhisar Belediyespor, Kayserispor, and Kongsvinger, where he was a Cameroonian international.
He moved to Parkhead at the start of the 2009–10 season and played 43 times for Tony Mowbray’s team during his loan season.
Other than that, he played 41 times for the Cameroon national team and became a regular in the middle for the Indomitable Lions from 2006 to 2014.
Former team Saint-Ettiene sends their sorrow.
The news outlet L’Equipe said that Nguemo died in a terrible car accident. Many people have paid their respects to a much-loved person in the game.
Saint-Ettiene, the midfielder’s old team, sent him a message of sympathy, which in English translated to “Landry Nguemo has left us.” Too quickly and way too soon. ASSE is sad about the death of one of its own. All of his family and friends, please know that we are very sorry for your loss.
We at 67 Hail Hail also send our thoughts and love to his family from a Celtic point of view. Nguemo was a good football player, but more than that, he was liked by many people, who will be saddened by his death right now.
Even though fans only got to see him play at Parkhead for a small part of his career, he made an impact on the team that will last. Landry Nguemo, may you rest in peace.
