The Premier League schedule for the 2024–2025 season has been revealed to Manchester City, which includes matches against Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal during that season.
In an exciting matchup against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Manchester City will begin their most recent attempt to defend their Premier League title against Enzo Maresca, who served as the club’s assistant manager during the previous administration.
In the 2024–25 season, City’s schedule includes a series of matches against Chelsea, which is managed by Maresca, followed by a first home game against Ipswich, who have just been promoted to the Premier League and will play Liverpool on the first weekend of the season. At Craven Cottage, City will play Fulham to conclude their season, with the goal of becoming the first team in the history of the English Premier League to win five titles in a row on consecutive occasions.
It is possible that Pep Guardiola may call the upcoming season his final one in command of Manchester City. If this is the case, then the final home match against Bournemouth on the penultimate weekend could be his final match as City manager at the Etihad Stadium. Although his present contract will expire in the summer of next year, it is possible that he will continue to serve as the manager for the Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States of America in June and July.
In September, City will play Arsenal, who are likely to be their title challengers, at the Etihad Stadium. This will be the fifth game of the season for City, and it will be followed by a return match at the Emirates Stadium at the beginning of February. Until they pulled out at the end of the previous season, Liverpool was in a position to compete with three other horses for the championship. The Blues will play Arne Slot’s team at Anfield in November, and then they will play them at their own stadium in February.
