BREAKING: Manchester City officially release their “price fee” to sell 28-year-old player Kalvin Phillips this summer

Manchester City has decided how much they want to get for Kalvin Phillips during the summer transfer window.

The midfielder has had a rough time at the Etihad Stadium since he moved there from Leeds United for £45 million in 2022.

After playing only six of Chelsea’s 31 games, the English player was sent on loan to West Ham United in January of the previous year.

The season is over, and the summer transfer window is almost open. Since then, some information about City’s position on Phillips has come to light.

BREAKING: Manchester City officially release their "price fee" to sell 28-year-old player Kalvin Phillips this summer

A new report from Sport says that City wants to get €30m (£25m) for Phillips this summer.

Three of the eight Premier League games the 28-year-old played in while at West Ham were starts.

Phillips got a disappointing 5.89/10 from WhoScored for his general play in those eight league games, making him the worst-rated player on the Hammers team.

Phillips needs to change.
Since Pep Guardiola said in December that he has trouble picturing the England international in his dream City team, it doesn’t look like he’ll be playing a lot for the Manchester club in the future.

That being said, it makes sense that City would be ready to take a lower fee than the one they paid for Phillips this summer if it meant getting him off their books.

If, on the other hand, the Citizens don’t get any offers to sign Phillips, they might want to send him out again and hope that he gets to play often.

Recently, it was said that Everton is looking into the chance of loaning the midfielder to them this summer. This could be a great next step for the former Leeds star.
