BREAKING: Manchester City striker Erling Haaland officially equals Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal record after Man City’s draw match against Arsenal (2-2)
Former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo set a record for the fewest games needed to score 100 goals for a single club. Erling Haaland of Manchester City has now tied that record.
His 100th goal for Manchester City came in the 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
After only nine minutes, the Norway player scored the first goal.
With the goal, Haaland hit the 100-game mark in just 105 games for Man City since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.
But Ronaldo had to play 105 games for Real Madrid after moving there from Manchester United before scoring his 100th goal.
