BREAKING: Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag contract has officially been extentend to June 2026 – DONE DEAL
Erik ten Hag has just signed a new deal that keeps him as manager of Manchester United’s first team until June 2026.
The manager, Erik ten Hag, said, “I’m very happy that we’ve agreed to keep working together.” When we look back on the last two years, we’re proud of the two prizes we’ve won and the many ways we’ve improved since I joined.
“However, it’s important to be clear that Manchester United still has a long way to go before they can play at the level that is expected of them, which means competing for English and European titles.”
“In my talks with the club, we have found total agreement in our vision for reaching those goals, and we are all firmly committed to making that journey together.”
Man United’s sporting director, Dan Ashworth, said, “Erik has solidified his reputation as one of the most consistently successful coaches in European football by winning two trophies in the last two seasons.”
“While the club’s review of last season showed some things that could have been done better, it was also clear that Erik was the best person to work with to raise standards and results.”
“This team of players and staff has already shown that they can compete and win at the highest level. Now we just need to do it more often.”
“With our expanded football management group now in place, we look forward to working together with Erik to accomplish our shared ambitions for this football club.”
