House Republicans are making a concerted effort to establish a new select committee with the purpose of conducting an investigation into allegations that the administration of former Vice President Joe Biden “covered up” indicators of the decline of the 82-year-old former president.

According to the text of the bill that was obtained by Fox News Digital, Representative Buddy Carter, a Republican from Georgia, is introducing legislation on Thursday that would establish a panel of congressional investigators to “investigate and report upon the facts of President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.’s cognitive and physical health decline and the potential concealment of information from the American public.”

The resolution has four co-sponsors as of Thursday morning, in addition to Representative Carter. These co-sponsors were Representatives Mark Alford of Missouri, John Rose of Tennessee, Derrick Van Orden of Wisconsin, and Barry Moore of Alabama.

As new stories – as well as old worries that were previously rejected by mainstream media – surface concerning Biden’s mental health while he was in office and what lengths those closest to him allegedly went to in order to conceal it from others, Republicans have unleashed a tidal wave of scrutiny on the previous Democratic White House.

The text message sent by Carter requests that an investigation be conducted into former Vice President Kamala Harris and former First Lady Jill Biden, as well as the individual or individuals who were responsible for concealing the audio tapes of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with Biden from the general public.

Additionally, the primary focus of the select committee would be on determining whether or if Biden’s friends “concealed” his diagnosis of prostate cancer before to its public announcement last week.

In a statement that was provided to the New York Times, the spokeswoman for Biden denied having any prior knowledge of the diagnosis.

In addition, the resolution made a particular request for an investigation into the usage of the autopen in the White House during the administration of Vice President Joe Biden to sign significant legislation.

“This is potentially the greatest political scandal of our lifetime, and the American people deserve to know what’s true about who was really managing the White House during Biden’s tenure as president,” Carter stated in an interview with Fox News Digital about his legislation.
