LaGuardia’s Chase Sapphire Lounge Is SpectacularโExcept for the Bland Burger and Rock Hard Salmon Bun by Gary Leff on July 18, 2025 I recently visited the Chase Sapphire Lounge at New York LaGuardia.
Although I had read the buzz, I had never visited this particular establishment. I only utilize the airport when traveling to or from another location, as non-stop flights are prohibited between LaGuardia and my residence in Austin (with the exception of Saturdays). It is unfortunate that I find myself at JFK on a more frequent basis.
The lounge is situated on the east side of the main hall, after security, in the Central Terminal (Terminal B), in relation to the entrance to gates 41-59. Daily hours of operation are from 4:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It occupies approximately 22,000 square feet. The cuisine at the LaGuardia Sapphire Lounge is generally praised by patrons. I find it to be exceptionally mid.
The burger is not the best; the flesh itself could be improved. The salmon for the salmon sandwich was dry, and the bun was firm. Although I acknowledge that the food is all pre-prepared for rapid delivery, this should not be the case when ordering food on demand. The meat over rice on the buffet was also desiccated, as was the rice. I consumed only a few bites of each item, but I did not complete it.
