For Celtic, Tiago Araujo, perhaps?

The fullback from Portugal is 22 years old and has two experiences playing for the under-21 team. The Benfica youth system produced him, although he only made one appearance for the first squad during his time with the club.

Araujo was able to secure a permanent move to Estoril after a brief stint at Arouca, during which he was able to make a total of sixteen additional appearances with the first squad.

The versatile full-back, who can also play as a winger, has made 49 appearances for the club over the course of two seasons. He has scored three goals and created four assists, which has contributed to his team’s current place in the league, which is in the middle of the table. Market for Transfers

Do you think he has the potential to be a forward for Celtic? Although there are many aspects of this move that scream “another project,” I am hoping that Rodgers has identified this individual as someone who has the potential to immediately strengthen what Celtic already have at the club.

Stephen McGowan is of the opinion that Celtic are on the verge of making a huge move even though the January transfer market is less than two weeks away from opening or closing.

After making the claim that Celtic might be on the verge of signing a player to provide Greg Taylor with some much-needed competition, the journalist from the Daily Mail was questioned about his thoughts on Celtic being able to strengthen their roster during the winter season.

PLZ Soccer quoted McGowan as saying, “I believe that they will.” I am referring to the Portuguese player, Tiago Araujo, who currently plays for Estoril and was formerly a player for Benfica. I believe that he is a very strong prospect for Celtic to acquire when January rolls around.

Whether or not he is able to defend is an issue of course, but I have a feeling that it is something that may occur. He is a left wing-back, and he is capable of getting forward.

As the Argentine has not been able to make any kind of impression on the club since his £3.75 million signing last summer, TBR Celtic reported that there was a feeling that Celtic could be poised to replace Alexandro Bernabei in January. Bernabei has been with Celtic since the summer of 2012.

One thing I would like to point out, however, is that if Celtic were to make an attempt to recruit Araujo, it would be with the intention of making him a regular starter for Brendan Rodgers.

A lot of attention has been paid to the fact that Celtic’s left flank was vulnerable in both the Scottish Premiership and in Europe, and it would be in Rodgers’ best interest to solve this issue as quickly as possible rather than holding off.
