Man Utd have yet to finalize the signing of Bryan Mbeumo, which could result in them overlooking a potential superstar.
The transfer window of Manchester United must be expedited, and the acquisition of Hugo Ekitike would instill in the supporters the confidence that has been sorely lacking.
There are other areas of Ruben Amorim’s team that require improvement; however, it is impossible to ignore the fact that a dependable central striker has not been present since a variety of veterans were assigned the position.
United has been associated with Ekitike for an extended period of time; however, Newcastle United’s offer of £60 million or more indicates that they are seeking to outpace their Premier League adversaries and simultaneously astonish everyone else. Eddie Howe’s acquisition of another of Europe’s most exceptional young talents is puzzling, particularly given that he typically employs only one striker. Alexander Isak is already widely regarded as one of the best in Europe.
Despite the Newcastle move allegation, Manchester United remains interested in Hugo Ekitike.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Newcastle is currently in a dominant position, as they are in negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt regarding a £65 million transfer, which is approximately £20 million less than had been previously reported. It is also the same price that United is expected to pay for Bryan Mbeumo.
Although Newcastle and Manchester United are the most active clubs in the Hugo Ekitike deal, according to French football journalist Abdellah Boulma, United are still in the race. The situation is being intently monitored by Chelsea, who have demonstrated interest since last winter. Liverpool is not prioritizing the athlete, but rather following him in a passive manner. Ekitike, on the other hand, is amenable to relocating to the Premier League.
The issue is that United has five players who have submitted transfer requests. These players must be removed from the wage tab before another player can be signed at a high salary. Mattheus Cunha, who was acquired for £62.5 million, and Mbeumo, who was acquired for a comparable sum, will both receive substantial salary increases.
“And it is not as though it has simply gone wrong for him under Amorim’s supervision.” I believe the scrutiny on Rashford and the sentiment that he may require a new beginning outside of Old Trafford. You are aware that his demeanor was not wholly positive, and that his body language was not appropriate.
“Nevertheless, they are bound to fail in their efforts to recuperate Anthony’s fee.” They will also not be able to recuperate Sancho’s. It is difficult to envision how anyone in the world will be able to cover Rashford’s salary in its entirety due to its substantial size.
“(Alejandro) Garnacho is slightly distinct.” I mean, he should produce them if they are sold at a reasonable price, as this generates a beneficial profit that aids in PSR.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich are interested in Rashford, while Sancho is on the brink of a move to Juventus. However, as Hay correctly notes, the primary concern is financial. Sancho was the primary target for Napoli, but they were compelled to alter their strategy due to the financial implications. It is possible that United will need to incur a significant expense, either in the form of transfer fees or a percentage of the players’ wages who wish to depart.
Although United may be interested in Ekitike and may engage in discussions with Frankfurt, every other club that is competing for his signature has the upper hand until they clear the decks.
