In response to the administration’s recent posture on Gaza during the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, a pro-Palestinian activist group is claiming responsibility for the vandalism of one of President Donald Trump’s golf courses.

According to Palestine Action, the “Trump Turnberry” golf course and hotel in southwest Scotland were damaged overnight on Saturday. The demonstrators painted the phrase “Gaza is not (for) sale” across the lawn of the South Ayrshire course in three-meter-high letters upon entering the 800-acre property, according to the group.

The organisation asserted that it dug up the greens, which included courses that were utilised in numerous Open Championships, and spray-painted the clubhouse.

“Last night’s action comes as a direct response to the US administration’s stated intent to ethnically cleanse Gaza,” according to the organisation. “The US President published an AI video last week that advertised his plans for the Strip, featuring himself and the genocide perpetrator Netanyahu, shirtless, drinking at the ‘Trump Gaza’ resort. He had previously outlined his intention to ‘clean out the whole thing’ and forcibly displace its population.”

The group also stated that Trump’s proposed plans for Gaza “constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.”

In a statement, a spokesperson from Palestine Action expressed their opposition to Donald Trump’s treatment of Gaza as if it were his property to dispose of as he sees fit. “In order to underscore this point, we have demonstrated that his personal property is susceptible to resistance.” We will persist in our efforts to combat US-Israeli colonialism in the Palestinian homeland.

Trump Turnberry characterises the actions of a pro-Palestinian organisation as a “childish, criminal act.”
A spokesperson for the department informed Reuters and Fox News that police in Scotland were conducting an investigation following the receipt of a report regarding damage to the golf course at approximately 4:40 a.m.

According to the Associated Press, Trump Turnberry referred to the group’s actions as a “childish, criminal act” and stated that the sabotage would not have an impact on its business.
