Brendan Rodgers knows that he needs to fix Celtic in the summer as well as getting ready for the last six games of the season.

After making it to the Scottish Cup Final with the win over Aberdeen at Hampden on Saturday, the Celtic boss now has something to look forward to.

But, as we all know, the win wasn’t as easy for the Celtic boss as he would have liked. Peter Leven’s team had to go through extra time and penalties to finally lose.

And after the game, Rodgers was talking about the win. He said he was happy to be in the final, but he saved some of his best praise for Bojan Miovski, who is linked to Celtic.

Miovski is truly beloved by Rodgers.

Miovski has been on fire for Aberdeen, even though they are having trouble in the Scottish Premiership. He has been called a “really talented” player.

Before the season, Rodgers was tied to the forward, but on Saturday, he praised the forward for making things hard for Celtic.

Rodgers told Charlie Mulgrew that his team gave the Aberdeen striker too much room in the first 45 minutes of the game. He said this while talking about how he told his players to guard the striker.

Rodgers told BBC, “I think we weren’t aligned tight enough, and as I said, they were pretty good in midfield and worked together really well to get through.”

The scorer for them is a good player. Yes, there was too much room.

“They scored a great goal, so you have to give them credit for that. We were on the attack before we even got the ball.”
